We don't believe "electronic bingo" is in the best interests of players, where you hire a gadget and play up to 72 tickets and pay a fortune. The first rule of bingo is about giving everyone an equal chance of winning for an equal stake. A player who enters the club with £20 in their pocket should have the same chance of winning as someone who brings £200. Here at The Ritz, no-one plays more than six tickets and everyone pays the same. Our customers don't play on portable electric gadgets, they play on paper tickets. OUR POLICY
When admissions to bingo were in decline all over the country, as people adapted to the Smoking Ban in 2007, we took the decision NOT to reduce the prize money on our Main Session Bingo, our core product. This was a bold move at the time but it has now paid off. Since 2007 we have more than doubled our share of the local market. We are bucking the trend by seeing more customers coming through our doors, new members as well as disgruntled members from other clubs. 

Those clubs who slashed prize money are the clubs now in trouble, even closing for good, whereas we are growing and increasing our staffing levels in order to ensure we deliver the service our customers deserve.
